DISCOVERING THE WORLD ONE SEESMIC AT A TIME!
20 Mar
I know, right? It’s been ages, and for that I do apologize. My previous job (in the failing mortgage market) left me with an abundance of time to work on all my projects. Having joined Seesmic, my free time is a bit more sparse, but that’s a good thing!
I am in the process of recruiting some help from other Seesmic users to assist with advertising of the project and posting the of the replies. Stay tuned.
If you are a Seesmic user and would like to assist with the project, just let me know.

So… I was made redundant from my company this past Friday. It happened during my yearly review. I actually got a weird feeling about it on Thursday when I was looking over my calendar for the next day. My review was setup for Friday at 4pm.. It just seemed like an odd time to me. End of day.. end of week.. Plus working in the mortgage industry, things have obviously been a bit slow lately.
I told one of the ladies that I work with, if there are two people on the phone, I am getting laid off. Sure enough, my boss rang, said hello, then introduced someone from HR.
I jumped in, "Oh, I guess you are letting me go"
"So you were expecting this?"
"Two people on the phone, one of them being from HR"
So.. long story short.. I was let go. I have a ton of stuff to ship back to the office, but whaddayado, eh?
I posted a video on Seesmic, Friday saying I was available for hire. It led to talks this morning with Loic and Johann, and I am now officially a Seesmic employee. FTW!!
Suwheet!

More interesting than just watching the videos is actually seeing where they sit on the map. Enter the SWP/GM Mashup! Just click the link below to get a better idea of where all the replies are coming from.

I’ve been pretty swamped on a couple of other projects (one of them being SeesmicAIR). Once I get my scripts here finished for the google maps mashup. I will get back to soliciting for replies and adding them as they come in

I have the following query:
SELECT SQL_CACHE wpblog_posts.post_title, post_content FROM wpblog_posts INNER JOIN wpblog_term_relationships ON wpblog_posts.id = wpblog_term_relationships.object_id WHERE wpblog_term_relationships.term_taxonomy_id =4 GROUP BY wpblog_posts.post_title HAVING count( wpblog_posts.post_title ) >1
Which, currently, returns 2 records:
But it should return 4 records.. the dupes... any suggestions?

If any of you out there have a bit of experience with php (any experience is more than mine), could you leave a note in the comments.
Basically what I am doing is this:
To plot these posts on Google Maps, I am using $post_title and $post_content. I can pull those out of the database fine. The problem arises when I have two posts with the same title. When that happens Google Maps (because the lat/lons are the same) is only displaying one of the duplicates.
I need to loop through the query results, find duplicates, and combine the content so that there is only one entry per location.
Help.
